    Hi guys !

A friend’s website is completely blocked by the critical error screen (admin part included).
So I prompted the debug : “Fatal error: Class SkyVerge\WooCommerce\Facebook\Admin\Tasks\Setup contains 1 abstract method and must therefore be declared abstract or implement the remaining methods (Automattic\WooCommerce\Admin\Features\OnboardingTasks\Task::get_parent_id) in /home/accom507/www/wp-content/plugins/facebook-for-woocommerce/includes/Admin/Tasks/Setup.php on line 0”
But I don’t know what to do with that information… Naively I tried to just change the class in question to abstract but it brought more errors… So I guess the problem is elsewhere.
So, could you help me please ?

    WordPress version : 6.1

Thanks a lot in advance for your time and answers,
    Have a nice day !

    Hello @wpyiwey,

    Sorry to hear this.

Just to make sure I understand the problem here, your friend is completely locked out of their site after activating the plugin.

Seems like there’s a conflict with the theme or another plugin, at the time being you can advise they do the following:

    • Access their site files using an FTP client or ask their host for an equivalent solution.
    • Navigate to the following folder wp-content > plugins> facebook-for-woocommerce and rename facebook-for-woocommerce to hold.facebook-for-woocommerce. You rename it to anything else, this will deactivate the plugin and should give you access back to your site.
    • If they need help with any of the steps above, please reach out to your host.
    • Once they’ve got access back they can navigate to WooCommerce > Status. Select “Get system report” and then “Copy for support”.? Once you’ve done that, paste it here in your response.

The report will have a summary of the site’s setup and can help us what went wrong.

Note: Please have your friend/the person with the problem reply here in case this will be moved to email support.

Look forward to hearing back from you.

    Hello @wpyiwey,

I’d like to add that this issue was specific to WooCommerce versions 6.1, 6.2, and 6.3. We’ve resolved this in v2.6.30. Please make sure you’ve updated Facebook for WooCommerce to v2.6.30. We also recommend that you update your WooCommerce to its latest version as well.

You can find more details about the issue here: https://github.com/woocommerce/facebook-for-woocommerce/issues/2362

    Thanks,
    Ibrahim
