Fatal Error

    Hey there

    I use Guest Author on 2 sites and both keep reporting a fatal error from WordPress. I am using the most up to date version of the plugin. Is there something I can do to stop this happening?

    Hi,

    The undefined function referenced in the error is actually a core WordPress function ( https://developer.www.ads-software.com/reference/functions/remove_meta_box/ )

    So the only reason it would end up being undefined is if the code in Guest Author calling the function is being loaded in an unexpected context where maybe not all of WordPress is being loaded. In the Stack Trace I see that it’s being called by a plugin with the slug “wp-health”. I’m not sure what plugin that is. If you know, let me know so I can maybe try installing it on a test site and see if I can reproduce the issue.
