Fatal Error

  • Installed but get cannot access Admin. Get:-

    Warning: require(/home/fhlinux160/f/xxx.co.uk/user/htdocs/wordpress/wp-admin/menu-header.php) [function.require]: failed to open stream: No such file or directory in /home/fhlinux160/f/xxx.co.uk/user/htdocs/wordpress/wp-admin/admin-header.php on line 126

    Fatal error: require() [function.require]: Failed opening required ‘/home/fhlinux160/f/xxx.co.uk/user/htdocs/wordpress/wp-admin/menu-header.php’ (include_path=’.:/usr/share/pear/’) in /home/fhlinux160/f/xxx.co.uk/user/htdocs/wordpress/wp-admin/admin-header.php on line 126

    Read all the docs I could find. Any ideas?

  • error is saying the `/wp-admin/menu-header.php file is missing.
    usually this means possibly more didn’t make it. upload that one again and see what happens.

    File was there, tried deleting and uploading but no change. Deleted complete installation and uploaded again. Fatal Error line 7. Again file was there but deleted and re-uploaded file, still error. For third time deleted complete installation and reloaded. This time error line 264, again file named as missing was there and same size as original.
    Not sure what to try next?

    minicat, i had the same problem as you and tried everything many, many times. uninstalled, re-installed, re-uploaded many, many times. nothing worked and just gave it up………..

    you spent more time starting new posts and not answering the old ones here than installing wordpress.

    i installed wordpress for her in about 5 minutes.
