This error affected both the admin area of the site as well as front end login page preventing all users from logging in. We have rolled back to version 4.8.5.1 to resolve the issue.

Let me know if you would like additional info and I will try to provide it.

    Hi Isabelle,

are you using a plugin called Theme My Login by any chance?

    Thanks,
    Jason

    Marking as resolved.

Hi, sorry I’ve been too busy to get back to this until now.

The site is indeed using Theme My Login. It looks like the error appears on the related login page(s). I’m happy to contact the developer of that plugin if you’re able to provide some additional details on what specifically they need to address to resolve the error.

    Thanks!

Hi, no worries for the delay.

We recently pushed a new release candidate to our Github repository, which should address this issue you’re experiencing:

    https://github.com/slimstat/wp-slimstat/archive/master.zip

If you would like to help us test it, please download this file to your desktop and unzip it. Then, using your FTP client, replace the content in

    /wp-content/plugins/wp-slimstat/

with these new files. DO NOT UNINSTALL Slimstat, or you will lose all your data. Also, given the changes to the tracker, please make sure you clear your website cache to allow Slimstat to append the new shorter tracking code to your pages. Also, if you are using Slimstat to track EXTERNAL pages (outside of your WP install), please make sure to update the tracking script there with the new one you can find in Slimstat > Settings > Tracker > External Pages.

Test this new release as thoroughly as possible, and see if the issue you were experiencing still occurs.

One last thing: this is NOT the official release just yet, and even though we consider it stable enough, we recommend that you update to the OFFICIAL release, once it’s available on the WordPress repository.

Keep me posted and do not hesitate to reach out to us if you notice any issues!

Thank you for helping us improve Slimstat!

Thanks Jason. I am swamped today so I may not be able to get to this right away. My client has requested we ensure the site remains online as their users need ongoing access to the site, so I will need to set up a staging environment to test this in.

I’ll get back to you with my test results as soon as I can.

Sure, no rush. Take your time.

    Hi there,
sorry to also write here, but it might be related (even though I don’t use the theme mentioned above).

Warning: implode(): Invalid arguments passed in /xxxxxx/wp-content/plugins/wp-slimstat/wp-slimstat.php on line 1332

Since today’s update, I get this message and all my Vimeo video don’t show up anymore (there’s a Vimeo error message instead).
    Thanks in advance!

    Hi @kenika

Would you mind starting your own thread? The mods are not fond of thread hijacking and it also makes it easier for me to troubleshoot things separately.

    Thank you,
    Jason

Sorry! I totally understand. Have a beautiful day!
