• I updated WP on this site recently, as I edits I made to the footer.php file did not appear on the site.
After the update I get this Fatal Error message (below) when I try to access the dashboard or log in. The site itself looks the same, but I can’t work on it.

Fatal error: Call to undefined function wp_raise_memory_limit() in /homepages/29/d351311587/htdocs/wp-admin/admin.php on line 141

    https://www.drjanisenzenbacher.com

I followed the advice in other forums to deactivating plugins, and I replaced all the WP files except the content folder (and wp-config.php). This did not help me.
    Please advise, and many thanks!
    Eve

I am wondering what would happen if I substituted a backed up older version of admin.php, as that is where the error occurs. But I fear this might make matters worse?
