Hi. I started getting a fatal error after updating the plugin to the latest version. Any suggestions? Thanks!!!

Fatal error: require_once(): Failed opening required ‘/home/…/public_html/wp-content/plugins/bnfw/includes/freemius.php’ (include_path=’.:/opt/cpanel/ea-php70/root/usr/share/pear’) in /home/…/public_html/wp-content/plugins/bnfw/bnfw.php on line 770

    Hi @williamews,
    Thanks for your message.

It’s possible the update was interrupted or didn’t complete as expected as Freemius is now completely removed from the plugin so shouldn’t be the cause of this error. It definitely hasn’t come up in my testing either.

Can you try manually updating the plugin via FTP? I find this usually fixes things like this if a plugin update hasn’t gone correctly.

Hi. I did re-installed the plugin via FTP, the error is no more showing. But apparently is making the website not load. It looks like something is wrong with the latest update. ??

    Thanks!

    Hi @williamews,
Please can you provide some more information as to the issue you’re seeing so that I can better help? I haven’t had any other reports of this so far.
Now that you’ve replaced the plugin via FTP, what error do you see in the error logs?

@asbell – Please open a new support message and i’ll gladly help diagnose the issue you’re having too in case it’s different.
