    Hi,

So i was updating a bunch of plug-ins. And as soon as i got to this one and updated it the whole site crashed and it gave a me a fatal error:
Fatal error: Call to undefined function wpum_get_option() in /home/svhumani/public_html/wp-content/plugins/wpum-recaptcha/includes/actions.php on line 33

Could this be caused by not being supported by the newest WordPress?
Would possibly removing the plug-in from the hostfiles fix this problem or is it rooted deeper?

    Thanks in advance

    Hi @lexievv

The error is coming from the recaptcha addon. Have you made sure that WPUM is enabled? The error indicates that a function is missing which would mean that the main plugin is disabled.

The addon is compatible with the latest version of WordPress, I just haven’t updated a number into the readme file that’s why it’s saying it might not be compatible, but it is.

    Hi,

First of all thanks for the quick reply!
That makes sense yeah, I think it went wrong at the point of updating where it deactivated the plug-in for a bit before re-activating it. But as soon as it deactivated it probably lost it’s get_option function causing the crash before it could restart the plug-in?

I will try to get acces to the hostfiles to temporarily deactivate the plug-in completely and get into the dashboard. See if i can get it to work again after that.

    Thanks again for the reply!
