Fatal error after upgrade
-
Hello all, WordPress novice here…I’m not even sure which version of WordPress I’m using..
I’m about two months into this job and have access to the dashboard for our website. This week I hoped to work on updating the site. I did click on “upgrade to (i think) 4.4” yesterday but I didn’t think it worked. I then noticed a new free plug-in offering for a photo gallery called Foo Gallery. One of the updates I want to make it to add more photo galleries so I thought perfect, let’s download that. So i downloaded that plugin to my computer but then didn’t touch it.
Today I went to go to my dashboard to start doing some edits and I get this fatal error:
Fatal error: Allowed memory size of 41943040 bytes exhausted (tried to allocate 48 bytes) in /nfs/c04/h04/mnt/61706/domains/almadelmar.org/html/almadelmar/wp-content/plugins/admin-menu-editor/includes/menu-item.php on line 249
Without thinking I first deleted the plugin zip file on my computer completely. Now I think maybe that was stupid, I’m not sure. What I do know is I can’t access my dashboard and do not know where anything was saved or stored when our site was initially built. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
