I have been trying to upgrade my wordpress at https://www.javaqueen.com/coffee-recipes
and have been fighting it all morning. Found that I had named the Hostname on the blog incorrectly… changed that and tried again.

The blog is still online as I can get to it, but now I cannot get into the admin.

Fatal error: Call to undefined function is_network_admin() in /home/davinc1/public_html/javaqueen/javaqueencom/coffee-recipes/wp-admin/admin-header.php on line 16

Do you have any clues as to what I have done now and how to rectify the situation?

As a side note… all of the other WP upgrades I have done this morning went off without a gliche.

If this is the result of an incomplete upgrade… how would I know that and how would I fix it?

    Try:
    – switching to the Twenty Ten theme by renaming your current theme’s folder in wp-content/themes using FTP or whatever file management application your host provides. You may need to try logging into your site to get this to kick in fully.

resetting the plugins folder by FTP or phpMyAdmin.

    – re-uploading all files & folders – except the wp-content folder – from a fresh download of WordPress.

    – re-running the upgrade manually using wp-admin/upgrade.php.

Thank you so much Esmi… I can get into my admin now, but I am not able to upgrade plugins automatically.

    Could not create directory. /public_html

    Got any thoughts about that?
