    Hi,

The site is a multisite running latest version of WordPress. The update was being run at the network level when this error was returned:

Fatal error: Class ‘Yoast_GA_Admin’ not found in /var/www/html/wp-content/plugins/google-analytics-for-wordpress/googleanalytics.php on line 73

Is there a fix for this?

    Thanks

    Hi there,
You (or your hosting provider if you don’t know how to do this), need to clear the PHP object cache for your server, as it’s cached the old version’s PHP file. Many of these caches will automatically clear on a schedule, so its also possible that it will clear within 5 to 20 minutes automatically, but in most cases you’ll need to clear it manually.

Thanks, I did ask them to clear the cache.

But I’ve deleted the plugin. Should I just go ahead and upgrade to the latest version via SFTP, or is there an issue with multisites?

    Hi there,
You can install via sFTP or the admin area. Once they clear the PHP object cache the issue won’t appear anymore
