Fatal error after upgrading UM – ForumWP

  • After upgrading UM Forum WP to 2.1.8 the site has a fatal issue when users view their account page. The log shows

    18:55:36 UTC] PHP Fatal error: Uncaught Error: Call to undefined method fmwp\common\Mail::get_public_emails() in /var/www/vhosts/excellent-team.nl/httpdocs/wp-content/plugins/um-forumwp/includes/core/class-account.php:53

    UM version 2.9.1 / forumWP (pro) version 2.0.2 (can’t upgrade to 2.1.2 due to issues with forumWP and Yoast) / UM Theme version 1.35

    This is the “Ultimate Member” plugin support forum. Please address questions related to the “Ultimate Member – ForumWP” plugin to its own support forum: https://www.ads-software.com/support/plugin/um-forumwp/

    The old version (2.0.2) of the ForumWP plugin is not compatible with the latest version (2.1.8) of the “Ultimate Member – ForumWP” plugin. You have to update the ForumWP plugin. Minimal supported version is 2.1.0. Deactivate the “Ultimate Member – ForumWP” plugin if you can not update the ForumWP plugin.
