I try to activate the Kyma theme and everything dies, with this error:

Fatal error: Allowed memory size of 134217728 bytes exhausted (tried to allocate 71 bytes) in ***/wp-includes/taxonomy.php on line 1857

    sometimes it’s

    …wp-includes/taxonomy.php on line 2602

If I go into the database and manually change the theme to something else, it comes back to life. And I can switch between other themes just fine. It’s just Kyma that causes this problem. Unfortunately, the client wants Kyma. And nothing else will do.

What steps should I take to try and fix this?
    Thanks

    Hi,

    Its not a theme problem.

    Please clear the cache.

[solved] Yes, it was a cache issue.

Although it wasn’t simply deleting the cache that solved it. It was deleting the cache plugin that did it.

I’m using w3-total-cache and I think moving wordpress into a sub-folder messed up some of the plugin’s settings.

I’m still not sure why it only affected the Kyma theme and not any others. But I guess it doesn’t really matter now that it’s working.

Thanks for pointing me in the right direction.
