Fatal error: Allowed memory size exhausted

wp has a limit of 2-3mb upload only. to maximize the upload space, u need to edit example phpadmin or cpanel. refer here

righto…. problem solved, there was no php.ini on the host, created that and set to 256m, all good thanks for the prompt feedback m8…

To clarify something here.

1) WP doesn’t have a file upload limit (which is what the 2-3mb upload limit would be). PHP does.

2) You were changing the memory usage, not the file upload size. Those are different things.

no incorrect explanation anywhere, that was a direct copy of the wordpress error…. its just a pity that there is such a huge learning curve with software on the run, by that I mean stuff that breaks when u do updates, and the poor user has to (lol) do research to fix a problem…
