I experience such errors after I updated Wordfence today. I see no errors if deactivate Wordfence.

Fatal error: Allowed memory size of 134217728 bytes exhausted (tried to allocate 275683 bytes) in /home/…/www/wp-content/plugins/all-in-one-event-calendar/app/view/calendar/shortcode.php on line 153

Fatal error: Allowed memory size of 134217728 bytes exhausted (tried to allocate 1870872 bytes) in /home/…/www/wp-content/plugins/wordfence/vendor/wordfence/wf-waf/src/lib/utils.php on line 441

    What’s happening? Please, help.

  • Hey @vertus,

This error is related to a PHP memory issue.

Do you happen to have the Query Monitor plugin installed and active? If so, can you please disable it? It’s a useful plugin. It can also use a lot of memory and has been known to conflict with Wordfence.

    https://www.wordfence.com/help/scan/troubleshooting/#plugin-conflicts

If you’re not using this plugin, can you ask your host to increase your PHP memory limit and let me know if it helps?

    Thanks,

    Gerroald

    Hey @wfgerald,

I’ve updated my hosting plan today to get PHP memory limit increased up to 1024 Mb.
    Everything is ok now.

And I suspect that my hosting provider urged me this malicious way to update my plan that I haven’t changed for years, lol, because I had a discussion on this question with them a couple of weeks before.

    Sorry for wasting your time.

    Regards,

    Roman
