    Hi

when I updated the plugin TablePress, I got a fatal error, white screen. I was able to get the website back, but the tables are currently not displayed.

Currently, I cannot activate the plugin because WordPress blocks it and displays the message “The plugin cannot be activated because it generates a fatal error”.

    Tablepress Version 2.2.3
    WordPress Version 6.4.1

Thank you very much for your support, Ivan

    Hi!

Thanks for your post and sorry for the trouble!

Errors directly after updating usually indicate an incomplete update. Can you therefore please delete TablePress (no worries, your tables will be safe in the database), and re-install it from a fresh download (via the “Plugins” screen)?

If the error persits, can you please try finding out more about what specific error is being raised? For that, please set the WP_DEBUG constant to true in your site’s “wp-config.php” file, see https://www.ads-software.com/documentation/article/debugging-in-wordpress/#wp_debug , or maybe check the server’s error log file (if you don’t have access to that your self, you web host company’s support team should have access).

    Regards,
    Tobias
