• Hi everyone,

    i need help urgently.

I have this error: : PHP Fatal error: Uncaught Error: Call to a member function getAttribute() on null in /plugins/email-before-download/includes/class-email-before-download-form.php:39

No matter what I do I can’t fix it.

    So far :
    – I have tried different shortcode options paying attention to the quotes “”.
    – I have tried to add default CF7 form ID. The ID used in shortcode is 100% correct.
    – I have tried with different PHP version. I use 7.3 atm.

Please help! I am out of ideas and this breaks the biggest part of my website.

The main problem is that my RSS Feed is broken.

    Hi Senadred,
I have the exact same problem, and people can still use the email-before-download function, but the RSS feed includes the same error that you mention and stops without finishing.
The plugin has not been updated for three years ??
    Can anyone help?
    Thanks in advance ??

    Hi,

please go to the WordPress backend and then Settings > Reading.

Go to the option “For each post in a feed, include” and select Summary instead of Full text.

This way, the feed will include the only summary without shortcodes and it will not be broken. This is obviously not an awesome solution but if you just want your feeds to stop reporting error, this should work.

Let me know hot it went.

    Regards!
