Fatal error: call to undefined function date diff ()

  • I downloaded and attempted to activate the WP SMTP Mailer. Now I am receiving this fatal error Fatal Error: Call to undefined function date diff (), and I can’t do anything on the dashboard in WordPress. I can’t deactivate it or anything. How do I get rid of the plugin? It displays the error on every page.

    I think, your php version is less than 5.6 please upgrade php to 5.6

    Just go to wp-content > plugins folder by FTP or file manager then you can delete or rename plugin folder.
