Fatal error: Call to undefined function: favorite_actions() in /home/sites/thebr

  • I just upgraded to 2.8 and disaster.
    I can’t access admin because of this error.

    Fatal error: Call to undefined function: favorite_actions() in /home/sites/thebridger.co.uk/public_html/blog/wp-admin/admin-header.php on line 113

    I relaoded the fiels three times in case a file had been missed.
    This is clearly a bug in the distro.

    can anyone help?

    I tried to debug it and see if it was just a simple thing.
    I got a new error each time i dealt with an existing one.

    Parse error: syntax error, unexpected ‘:’ in /home/sites/thebridger.co.uk/public_html/blog/wp-admin/includes/dashboard.php on line 513

    (refers to this line on its own “ else :” I never saw this before anwyhere, is it legal code?

    Two or three that I forgot to record referred to missing functions.
