• I use this plugin on another site with no problems, but I just merged that site with 3 others (downsizing) and when I click on “Index” I get

Fatal error: Call to undefined function make_theme_blog_page() in /home/public_html/wp-content/themes/parallelus-mingle/framework/theme-functions/shortcodes.php on line 832

    (my theme)

Prior to that, it gave me a fatal error for a plugin that I was using.

I know the error isn’t coming up as a Relevanssi error but I’m just wondering if you’ve come across this before and can give some tips in how I could troubleshoot it as I only get the error when I click on “Index” in Relevanssi.

The error I got prior to the above, was fixed by adding a featured image to a post, completely unrelated to your plugin, but it was a fatal error also, and now I get the fatal error again but with a new message.

I’ve never had to adjust the theme files to make a plugin work so I’m a bit confused as to what to do.

Your theme has a shortcode that is not playing nice with Relevanssi. As a quick fix, disabling shortcode expansion in Relevanssi settings will make the error go away. As a proper fix, the shortcode function should be fixed somehow.

Relevanssi Premium also has an option where you can disable particular shortcodes, that helps with situations like these if you want to keep other shorcodes enabled.

If you can figure out which shortcode it is, I can disable that particular shortcode in Relevanssi source code for good.
