"Fatal error: Call to undefined function …." : WHAT TO DO?

    Hello
    I upgraded to wordpress latest edition “succsessfully”, but then got this message: “Fatal error: Call to undefined function self_admin_url() in /mnt/linuxweb01/L/livskval/www/wp-admin/includes/update-core.php on line 698”

    What should I do?! The site seems to function properly.

    If the above statement is true, the error quoted by you appeared during update, and it seems, it is solved now.

    Was it “dangerous” or?

    Nothing to worry about it, not at all dangerous. This type of minor mistakes do happen. As you work with WordPress, you will learn how to solve such problems by yourself.
