Fatal Error: Call to undefined function wp()

  • I’ve installed WP many times with no problems until now …

    Double-checked everything but when I go to install.php on the browser up comes this:

    Fatal error: Call to undefined function wp() in /home/martinn/public_html/gadgets/wp-blog-header.php on line 14

    Have re-installed it twice and same problem.

    Any ideas on what the problem could be?

  • hate to say it, but…
    Fatal error: Call to undefined function almost always means one or more files did not get uploaded or are 0 byte.

    Thanks for the reply, samboll.

    Strange, I deleted the installation and re-installed it – same problem.

    I even downloaded another WP zip from wp.org – same problem.

    Only difference, is that I’m installing it on a subdomain, but I’ve done that successfully before a while back.

    Otherwise, I gotta check out my FTP (Filezilla) program.
