    I upgraded to iThemes Security this morning. After the update I couldn’t install any plugins, so I thought I would disable the iThemes Security plugin.

    Now when I try and access the public site I see:

    Fatal error: Call to undefined function wp() in /home/public_html/wp-blog-header.php on line 14

    When I try and access the admin panel I see:

    ‘Fatal error: Call to undefined function nocache_headers() in /home/public_html/wp-admin/admin.php on line 32’

    Any help would be great, even if it is just a simple tip on how to re-enable the plugin!

  • I had a similar issue. I have not disabled the plugin, however I am now getting

    Fatal error: Call to undefined function presscore_responsive() in /home/romeopappa/public_html/wp-content/themes/dt-the7/header.php on line 33
    on my site https://www.cleaningtanks.com.au

    Please start a new thread as it is hard for people to troubleshoot two issues at once.

    Information that may be useful.. My wp-config.php has not been modified by myself – my table prefix is a random prefix created by the now extinct Better WP Security, yet my wp-config file features:

    $table_prefix = 'wp_';

    I know this is wrong, but I’m not sure if the plugin had some way of redirecting the requests to the random prefix that it created?

    Regardless, I changed the table prefix in my wp-config.php file and it made no difference.

    I have also tried a fresh .htaccess file however this has not helped either.

    Well, replacing all of the files (and not the database) worked.
