Fatal error: Cannot declare…

  • Hello all,

    New to WordPress forum.

    We had a private web designer build our work website using WordPress — https://www.element402.com

    He has been a pain to deal with, so we decided to transfer everything over to Godaddy to handle. Since the switch the website now pops up with this error:

    Fatal error: Cannot redeclare wp_json_encode() (previously declared in /home4/narenweb/public_html/element402.com/wp-includes/functions.php:2846) in /home4/narenweb/public_html/element402.com/wp-content/plugins/contact-form-7/includes/controller.php on line 258.

    He told us we were hacked. We are not totally sure if their was a hack or if he did not build correctly on his end from the beginning. Very remedial when it comes to coding, so any help here would be great. We believe a plugin issue but again, not totally sure what to do to get site live again.

    Any help on steps would be much appreciated!
