When attempting to activate the newest version of the Importer (0.6.3), the activation fails due to a fatal error:

Fatal error: Cannot redeclare class WXR_Parser in /home/thinkdesigns/shoregroup/public_html/wp-content/plugins/wordpress-importer/parsers.php on line 12

I took a look inside parsers.php and I didn’t notice any code redundancy myself. Anybody have the same issue and/or have a workaround or solution. I am trying to import over 100 FAQ articles and I most definitely will not enjoy adding them in one-by-one because of this!

    Thanks

I cant help, but i have just had the same issue on a new build and an excisiting build.

Fatal error: Cannot declare class WXR_Parser, because the name is already in use in /homepages/38/d417870693/htdocs/pbsafety.co.uk/wp-content/plugins/wordpress-importer/parsers.php on line 12

So i am seeking a solution as well! I really could do with this working.

    thanks

I am having this same issue. Did anyone find a work around? Trying to import my client’s site from my WordPress subdomain to her new domain.

Adding to this, I am having same issue: Fatal error: Cannot redeclare class WXR_Parser in
