Fatal error: Cannot redeclare yoursite_pre_user_query

  • The website is https://www.LiquidAP.com, and I cannot access any of the project pages, the past projects, utilize the search function or get to the admin log in page. The error message that comes up is: Fatal error: Cannot redeclare yoursite_pre_user_query() (previously declared in /data/26/2/22/104/2511267/user/2750790/htdocs/wp-content/themes/smartbox-installable/functions.php:2060) in /data/26/2/22/104/2511267/user/2750790/htdocs/wp-content/themes/smartbox-installable/functions.php on line 2085

    Anyone have this happen before? I am not sure what the error is.

    Looking to resolve immediately!!

    Your current theme “smartbox-installable” seems to be the issue.

    To confirm it, try switching to the unedited default Theme (Twenty Fifteen, etc.) for a moment using FTP , or your web-host’s cPanel or whatever file management application your host provides. Navigate to /wp-content/themes/ and switch to the default theme by renaming your current theme’s folder by adding “-old” to the end of the folder name. Alternately, you can remove other themes except the default theme. That will force your site to use it.

    I can’t access the admin login panel, and am not sure what file management system we use. I am fairly new to the company and wasn’t given much direction with the website when I began, and have nothing but the documents and coding in a word doc that the company that set the site up gave us.

    Is there any way I can access the login panel?

    Tara, I was able to rename the theme, and once I did I was able to log into the WP admin login panel, however how am I able to tell what the problem in the theme is so I can continue to use the theme?

    I checked your theme but unfortunately it is not in the WP free theme directory:

You’ll be more likely to find a good answer from them, for they have the access to its code.
