• Hi. I have the following problem on 2 different websites:

Fatal error: Cannot use in /wp-content/plugins/caldera-forms/includes/cf-pro-client/classes/hooks.php on line 10

The funny thing is that it happened to me in two different installations:
    1) On the web where Caldera was already installed, when updating.
    2) On a completely new website when installing it.

Any ideas about it?. Thanks in advance

  • I’m getting this too. Clearly something going on with it. I tried rolling back a version and still getting fatal errors.

    Hi,

I tried to update Caldera plugin and it showed fatal error. Can someone help me. Thank you in advance.

Fatal error: Cannot use calderawp\calderaforms\pro\api\local\settings as settings because the name is already in use in?/home4/norbert2016/public_html/wp-content/plugins/caldera-forms/includes/cf-pro-client/classes/hooks.php?on line?10

    I’m getting the same.
Eleven websites updated, eleven websites with admin dashboard crashes with the same error.

Fatal error: Cannot use calderawp\calderaforms\pro\api\local\settings as settings because the name is already in use in /home4/norbert2016/public_html/wp-content/plugins/caldera-forms/includes/cf-pro-client/classes/hooks.php on line 10

    [edit]

    I made some progress.
In that eleven websites I use community version of Caldera, and I just change the cf-pro-client folder name located in wp-content/plugins/caldera-forms/includes/

Its a solution till Caldera solve the problem.

What version of PHP are you using? Same issue reported here? https://www.ads-software.com/support/topic/heads-up-php-5-6-error/

My PHP version: 7.2.7. I would like to know how to fix it the problem. Now, I cannot go to admin page (dashboard) to update other pages.

Old versions of PHP is not the problem.

I’m using PHP 7.2 and I’m getting the same error.

    I renamed folder
    plugins/caldera-forms/includes/cf-pro-client
    to
    plugins/caldera-forms/includes/cf-pro-client-bkp

I don’t use Caldera Pro, so, I tried that and problem gone.

    Hi.
I hope someone has a sollution for me. Quite desperate right now.

I got a mail from my webhost provider saying that there is a security issue. When I google my homepage, the title of my page is written in chinese letters.
when I try to log into my wordpress page with my admin it only says:

Warning: require_once(/www/htdocs/w0192229/soergerbergkultur.at/wp-admin/admin.php): failed to open stream: No such file or directory in /www/htdocs/w0192229/soergerbergkultur.at/wp-admin/index.php on line 10

Fatal error: require_once(): Failed opening required ‘/www/htdocs/w0192229/soergerbergkultur.at/wp-admin/admin.php’ (include_path=’.:/usr/share/php:..’) in /www/htdocs/w0192229/soergerbergkultur.at/wp-admin/index.php on line 10

does someone have an idea what I can do? I couldn’t find anything helpful so far.

    thanks

If you need to restore access to the WP admin site after a failed update can restore only the wp-content/plugins/caldera-forms from a backup.

To update successfully you have to edit hooks.php local\settings line so it’s commented out so just add # in front. Found this on YouTube and it worked
