If I have more than one theme in the wp-content/themes directory I get this error in the design page:

Fatal error: Cannot use string offset as an array in /data/12/0/152/152/804152/user/824646/htdocs/dbblog/wp-admin/themes.php on line 96

I’m betting it’s a site config issue, or missing something on my site, but how do I fix it?

Added complications, if I only have one theme in the wp-content/themes directory, I still don’t see it in the dashboard, nor can I edit via the dashboard. (I’m using 2.6.1 of WP!)

No matter how much digging I do, I’m not finding a resolution to this, Any help out here?

Ok, got it fixed. Had to remove ALL plugins, then make sure that the original default and classic where the only two themes in the themes directory, then I was able to get more added. What a pain!!
