    I received the following error after updating the plugin.
    Fatal error: Call to undefined function wp_is_mobile() in /home/ooarsrx/public_html/wp-content/plugins/all-in-one-event-calendar/app/model/settings-view.php on line 113
    I can’t access my website at all. When I go to login in I get the fatal error. This is our school website and I have no idea what to do now. I have tried everything and each page I try to access gives the same error. I have no way of even uninstalling the plugin because I can’t access the dashboard. HELP!!!!! Please!!!

    Try these steps:

    1. Using FTP or whatever file management tools your host has provided you with navigate to the wp-content/plugins directory.
    2. Once there locate and delete the all-in-one-event-calendar directory. Just that one directory and nothing else.
    3. Try and re-login to your WordPress dashboard.

    Note that I’m talking about file management and not your WordPress dashboard (which doesn’t work for you at the moment).

    Got a similar error.

    Fatal error: require_once() [function.require]: Failed opening required ‘/home/vaulty/public_html/wp-load.php’ (include_path=’.:/usr/local/php53/pear’) in /home/vaulty/public_html/wp-admin/admin.php on line 30

    Restored from backup and then tried to update to the latest version again. Crashed the site again. Something’s wrong with the latest version of this plugin.

    I’ve restored to a backup that has version 2.1.2 and now I get the old Cache directories, /home/vaulty/public_html/wp-content/plugins/all-in-one-event-calendar/cache//home/vaulty/public_html/wp-content/ai1ec_static/, are not writable. Your calendar will perform more slowly until you make this directory writable by the web server.

    I’m getting this when I just tried to update to latest version

    Warning: require_once(/volume1/web/sheffield/wp-includes/locale.php): failed to open stream: No such file or directory in /volume1/web/sheffield/wp-settings.php on line 314 Fatal error: require_once(): Failed opening required ‘/volume1/web/sheffield/wp-includes/locale.php’ (include_path=’.’) in /volume1/web/sheffield/wp-settings.php on line 314

    It actually caused my server to completely erase the entire website. I’ve lost a good 40 hours of work due to not having a backup, and I’m recovering at least images and css files just through my browser cache. This is insane.

    Repeats every time I try to reinstall this version of all in one calendar. Is there any place where I can get an older version?

    Any update on this error?

    Problem is fixed. We restored a backup!

    Jan thanks for your suggestion of deleting the directory of the problem plugin. Solved it.
