    Hi,

I’ve just done updates, incl. woocommerce etc.

When I try and activate this plugin I get the following fatal error:

Fatal error: require_once(): Failed opening required ‘/usr/www/users/slickmfgbv/wp-content/plugins/woo-wholesale-pricing/includes/api/v1/class-wwp-rest-api-wholesale-products-v1-controller.php’ (include_path=’.:/usr/share/php’) in /usr/www/users/slickmfgbv/wp-content/plugins/woocommerce-wholesale-prices/includes/api/class-wwp-rest-api.php on line 82

    Please can you assist?

I’ve narrowed down the conflict using Health Checker, and see there is conflict with the following plugin:

Wholesale For WooCommerce Lite – https://www.ads-software.com/plugins/woo-wholesale-pricing/

If I deactivate that plugin, I can activate your plugin.

If I first activate your plugin then try activate the above then I get this fatal error:

Fatal error: require_once(): Failed opening required ‘/usr/www/users/slickmfgbv/wp-content/plugins/woocommerce-wholesale-prices//inc/class-wwp-wholesale-user-roles.php’ (include_path=’.:/usr/share/php’) in /usr/www/users/slickmfgbv/wp-content/plugins/woo-wholesale-pricing/wholesale-for-woocommerce-free.php on line 49

Both plugins were running fine on the site before I updated WordPress, woocommerce and all additional plugins prior, how can I fix this?

    Thanks

    Hey @braanmcbrutal

Unfortunately, it’s inadvisable to run both of those plugins together, they do similar functions and there’s bound to be overlap.

With the latest version of our plugin, we introduced a new API endpoint. Based on the error, it looks like their plugin code is somehow trying to call it. I’m not sure why it would even do that, it seems really quite weird.

I hope this gives you some things to chase up and in the meantime you’re welcome to downgrade by downloading the old version here which will get you out of this immediate conflict by the sounds of it: https://www.ads-software.com/plugins/woocommerce-wholesale-prices/advanced/

In the long term though, it’s unlikely the two can coexist because we’re bound to overlap in functionality both being wholesale plugins.

I can only vouch for my own plugin and say that we put it through rigorous testing on each and every release, and we stand behind its quality 100%.

We’re also very dedicated to this niche and aim to provide the best possible solutions (which is why we’re constantly doing improvements like this).

    Hope this helps!

    Cheers,
    Josh
