    Hello everybody,
    when I try to create new contents (page, post, media, etc), WordPress gives me this Fatal Error, due to the Yoast SEO plugin.

    Fatal error: Uncaught TypeError: Argument 2 passed to WPSEO_Link_Watcher::save_post() must be an instance of WP_Post, null given, called in /web/htdocs/www.eurousc-italia.it/home/en/wp-includes/class-wp-hook.php on line 288 and defined in /web/htdocs/www.eurousc-italia.it/home/en/wp-content/plugins/wordpress-seo/admin/links/class-link-watcher.php:47 Stack trace: #0 /web/htdocs/www.eurousc-italia.it/home/en/wp-includes/class-wp-hook.php(288): WPSEO_Link_Watcher->save_post(0, NULL) #1 /web/htdocs/www.eurousc-italia.it/home/en/wp-includes/class-wp-hook.php(310): WP_Hook->apply_filters(NULL, Array) #2 /web/htdocs/www.eurousc-italia.it/home/en/wp-includes/plugin.php(465): WP_Hook->do_action(Array) #3 /web/htdocs/www.eurousc-italia.it/home/en/wp-includes/post.php(3951): do_action(‘save_post’, 0, NULL, false) #4 /web/htdocs/www.eurousc-italia.it/home/en/wp-admin/includes/post.php(666): wp_insert_post(Array) #5 /web/htdocs/www.eurousc-italia.it/home/en/wp-admin/post-new.php(66): get_default_post_to_edit(‘post’, true) #6 {main} in /web/htdocs/www.eurousc-italia.it/home/en/wp-content/plugins/wordpress-seo/admin/links/class-link-watcher.php on line 47

    When I deactivate the plugin, the problem is solved.
    How can I solve the problem reactivating the SEO plugin?
    Thanks for the support.

    Got the same problem here, deactivating the plugin doesn’t solve the problem for me.

    You are right.
    Deactivating the plugin I have this problem:

    Warning: Creating default object from empty value in /web/htdocs/www.eurousc-italia.it/home/en/wp-admin/includes/post.php on line 708

    We’re sorry that you are experiencing problems that might be caused by our plugin!

    Just to be sure, we would like to rule out any plugin or theme conflicts that may occur. The fastest way to do this is to?deactivate all non-Yoast plugins and switch to a standard theme?like?Twenty Nineteen.?

    Test this on your development or staging site, if you have one. If not, we recommend using the?Health Check & Troubleshooting?plugin. This plugin allows you to run a conflict check?without affecting normal visitors to your site.

    As we can imagine that you’re unfamiliar with checking for conflicts, we’d like to point you to a step-by-step guide that will walk you through the process:?How to check for plugin conflicts.
