I was working with Huge-IT Image Gallery Plug-in and I got this fatal error message:

Fatal error: Unknown: Failed opening required ‘/data/25/0/48/143/48143/user/49137/cgi-bin/.php/sessions/sess_ff5c61db2899be4bf91abf8c765081d3′ (include_path=’.:/usr/share/php:/usr/services/vux/lib/php’) in Unknown on line 0

Now I can’t even log into my site to deactivate and re-install the Plug-in. I had to make a new Username just to be able to post in this forum.

    How do I fix this?

Try manually resetting your plugins (no Dashboard access required). If that resolves the issue, reactivate each one individually until you find the cause.

If that does not resolve the issue, access your server via SFTP or FTP, or a file manager in your hosting account’s control panel, navigate to /wp-content/themes/ and rename the directory of your currently active theme. This will force the default theme to activate and hopefully rule-out a theme-specific issue (theme functions can interfere like plugins).

    Thank James.

I went to Networksolutions (my ISP) and got them to reload my backup from the previous day and that solved the problem.

    Thanks for your help.
