Fatal error: Can’t use function return value in write context

    Hi!

    I’m trying to install plugin on clean new install of wordpress. Unfortunately ehrn I try to turn it on I get this error and it is not activated:
    Fatal error: Can’t use function return value in write context in /home/gloomysu/www/intra/wp-content/plugins/wp-user-manager/includes/functions.php on line 554

    Is there anything I can do about it?

    Hi @marcjanik,

    This is caused by an outdated version of PHP installed onto your host. You need to contact your host and let them know you need to upgrade php onto your site to at least 5.6
