Fatal error – Caught error

Hi there. It seems there’s an issue with your template. Try to regain control by deactivating the template.
1. Gain access of your site using FTP or PhPMyAdmin. Before moving forward, keep a backup of al of your files.
2. Then go to wp-includes, and disable the template section.
3. Now try to log in to your site.
The problem should be solved.

You’ll have to work around to find which template is casing the problem though.

Thank you – so it looks like it was a template issue as you mentioned above and I gained access to wp-admin. Is there a way to figure out what in the template started this issue all of a sudden? This template was designed for my site and need it to continue to function, or our site is completely down. Thanks!

There has been a critical error on this website.

The theme was customised for your website. Apparently it uses functions from the TwentyTwentyOne theme, which no longer exist. You therefore have 2 options for a solution:

a) You would have to have your current theme customised to be compatible with TwentyTwentyOne again. Please contact the original developer. If this is not available, you may be able to find someone here: https://jobs.wordpress.net/

b) Change the theme, e.g. to TwentyTwentyFour or any other which matches your requirements. The error will then no longer occur.

I updated TwentyTwentythree theme and got this error message preventing me from accessing the site: “Warning: require_once(zip://#archive): Failed to open stream: operation failed in E:\Local Sites\rfsc\app\public\wp-includes\template.php on line 810”.

How do you disable the template section as previous advised in this forum? How can I revert to the previous version of the theme? Thank you.
