Yesterday I had my “hosting WP” activated by Aruba for the site https://www.calesresort.it.
I tried to install the theme SPINA, and WP crashed:
Fatal error: Class ‘Kirki’ not found in /web/htdocs/www.calesresort.it/home/wp-content/themes/spina/functions.php on line 15

  • If your site is currently inaccessible, you can regain access by switching to the default theme automatically by deleting the wp-content/themes/spina folder using FTP or whatever file management application your host provides. Then try re-downloading the Spina theme.

It also sounds like the spina theme requires the kirki plugin… You could try first activating the plugin and then reinstalling the theme.

    Thankyou! I will try,
meanwhile I managed entering the WP dashboard from the hosting CtrlPanel and found a notification that the theme spina is corruped cause the father theme kima is missing; but kima 1.7 is actually installed.

    Hi,

    Did the above issue fixed?

    Thank You

    Hi all

Really new to WordPress… downloaded a free theme called Lucy and started editing with no backups or anything. Have had this same error appear and now can’t do anything in the back end of the website.

I have no ftp set up or any access to cPanel or anything like that…HELP ??

@guywenham If you don’t have access to the WordPress dashboard, FTP or cPanel unfortunately I don’t think there’s anything you can do.
Without access you can’t fix any issues

@aristath thanks for letting me know. Is there any way of setting up an FTP now and using that to access the theme? I literally know nothing about FTPs.

That is something you will have to discuss with your host…
Try contacting them and let them know of your issue.
I’m sure they’ll be able to do something for you ??
