Fatal error: Class ‘Requests’ not found

    The amp version of my posts are showing this error:

    Fatal error: Class ‘Requests’ not found in /wp-content/plugins/accelerated-mobile-pages/includes/vendor/amp/includes/lib/fasterimage/FasterImage.php on line 85

    The wordpress is the WordPress 4.4.18

    You are using the old version of WordPress, the class Requests was introduced in WordPress 4.6 and as you are using the old version of WP, the plugin is not able to find the Requests class.

    I highly suggest you update your WordPress to the latest version as there are a lot of new features added in more importantly improved security as well and this will fix the issue.

    Also, this situation does not happen again with AMPforWP plugin for that I have reported the issue in Github here https://github.com/ahmedkaludi/accelerated-mobile-pages/issues/3094 and this will be improved in future updates.
