Fatal Error – Codepress Admin Columns help needed

    Fatal error: Cannot use AC\Admin as Admin because the name is already in use in /home/content/08/6136008/html/wp-content/plugins/codepress-admin-columns.disabled/classes/Admin/WpMenuFactory.php on line 5
    There has been a critical error on this website. Please check your site admin email inbox for instructions.

    [NOTE: I don’t see this site admin email anywhere. Not in spam or junk mail folder.]

    Site had spammy keywords malware but it was cleaned up with GoDaddy. Most plugin directories were renamed to troubleshoot. No change in the issues. Deleted Codepress Admin Columns and reinstalled latest version. — No change.

    HELP PLEASE.

    Cannot access WP dashboard.

    Cannot create or edit pages, posts, and most anything else. Can edit pages and posts that were pre-existing and created with Beaver Builder (i.e., not Gutenberg posts).

    Cannot reconnect site in ManageWP (GoDaddy Pro).

    Do you have a second version of Admin Columns or Admin Columns Pro installed on your website? If you have the pro version installed, you’ll need to disable the free version. I highly doubt that there is another plugin that uses the same namespace, but you can perform a search on your codebase for that specific namespace. Or you could remove the plugin, flush the cache and install the plugin again. The cache might also be the issue here.

    Thanks for the reply. But after finally getting the right help person at my hosting provider, I was able to determine it was a hosting problem even though the error message pointed to the Admin Columns plugin as the issue.

    It had something to do with incorrect cPanel and/or firewall settings pointing to the wrong server IP address and the .htaccess file having entries set by a security plugin and blocking access. In other words, not an issue with your plugin. Glad to know that because I have it on multiple websites.

    Once those issues were addressed, I was able to access the dashboard, reactivate Codepress Admin Columns, and get back to business. GREAT PLUGIN. Keep up the good work!
