    Hi,
After migrating to a new server, the plugin doesn’t work anymore. Website crashes and none page is rendered.
Only a blank page with this php error message:
“Fatal error: Maximum execution time of 200 seconds exceeded in /srv/users/USERNAME/apps/previdalfrance/public/wp-content/plugins/fetch-tweets/include/class/option/FetchTweets_Option_Format.php on line 207”.
I use it for years and I wouldn’t change.
    Any help will be appreciated.

    Hi,

Sorry to hear you got such a situation. I’m not sure why it occurs but it seems the routine of formatting the plugin options done by the plugin has stalled for some reasons. I can help you initialize the options to get rid of the situation.

    1. Deactivate the plugin by renaming the directory name, fetch-tweets, in the wp-contents/plugins directory to something else such as fetch-tweets.bak via FTP or File Manager of cPanel (if available).
    2. Download the Fetch Tweets - Delete Options plugin from here (the following page has a download link at the top right).
    3. Login to your site and go to Dashboard -> Plugins -> Add New and upload and install Fetch Tweets - Delete Options.
    4. Activate Fetch Tweets - Delete Options and then deactivate it. When it is activated, it will initialize the options of Fetch Tweets so the saved settings will be gone. But then you should get rid of that error, possibly caused by a broken option.
    5. After confirming that Fetch Tweets runs without an error, delete Fetch Tweets - Delete Options not to activate it accidentally.

Let me know if this solves your problem.

    Hello,

I really appreciate your help that has absolutely solve my problem.
    Everything works now!

    P.S.
I cannot install the “Fetch Tweets – Delete Options” zip file because it has not been recognized as a plugin. So I simply add the two delete_option() functions in my functions.php file and it does the job!

    Kind Regards
