    Hi olidell2013,

I’m really sorry that you ran into issues here…this is definitely not what we hope for on release.

We have found the cause of this bug–it was a documentation change in the WP API for get_current_screen. Apparently, WP 4.4 doesn’t allow this to be called in the admin_init hook as it did from 4.0-4.3 safely.

We’ve added some conditional logic to the plugin to fix this–it is only happening with some users who have a plugin or theme that slightly alters the admin_init hook ordering.

We will release this patch in the next hour or less. Again, sorry about the hassle here. It caught us off guard too. We’re not perfect and definitely miss the mark on occasion, but we never miss it twice and we’re very diligent about fixing things once we find them.

    Patch has been released.

You can restore access to your admin side by using FTP or SCP and going to wp-content/plugins and renaming the “business-directory-plugin” to something else temporarily. After that, go back to Plugins dashboard and update it. That should restore everything back to normal.
