    Hi, when I turn on Wordfence’s WAF feature, I get a Fatal Error right away.

    Here is the error in the log:

    Cron reschedule event error for hook: wf_scan_monitor, Error code: invalid_schedule, Error message: Esemény ütemezés nem létezik., Data: {"schedule":"wf_scan_monitor_interval","args":[],"interval":60}

    config-livewaf:

    <?php exit('Access denied'); __halt_compiler(); ?>

    If I want the page to be restored, I have to delete all Wordfence-related files.

    Hi @ocaso, thanks for your detailed message.

    Interestingly, wf_scan_monitor?only appears during a Wordfence scan as it just watches a running scan to ensure it completes. Reenabling the plugin or WAF looks like it might be kicking off an overdue scan so the error occurs immediately.

    The Esemény ütemezés nem létezik (Event schedule does not exist) notice in WordPress can sometimes be logged if a cron event was scheduled but never executed due to the schedule being invalid or removed. Firstly, I would try performing a full remove/reset of our plugin just in case there was something missing during initial installation or subsequent troubleshooting: https://www.wordfence.com/help/advanced/remove-or-reset/

    If you try that, and the message above still shows up, drop us a diagnostic report to wftest @ wordfence . com directly using the link at the top of the Wordfence > Tools > Diagnostics page. Then click on “Send Report by Email”. Please add your forum username where indicated and respond here after you have sent it.

    NOTE: It should look as follows – Screenshot of Tools > Diagnostic > Send by Email

    Thanks,
    Peter.

    I’ve reinstalled it many times before, and it’s the only way I can get the site to work after activating WAF.

    I have run several websites, some where this error has already occurred, others where it has not. Some where it was solved and some where it was not. I have no idea what could be causing this problem, hosting, plugins or theme.

    I sent the report from the plugin.

    Thanks.

    Thanks for “fast” reply, I deleted the plugin.

    Hi @ocaso,

    My apologies for the delay, I didn’t see your diagnostic but have it now. The message is:

    wp_remote_post() test back to this server failed! Response was:
    403 Forbidden

    Cloudflare appears to be blocking your site from connecting to itself.
    Get help with Cloudflare compatibility

    Check the link above to see if you can get your site’s IP allowlisted in Cloudflare, as the loopback is failing. In terms of connecting to Wordfence’s servers, that side seems to be fine.

    Thanks,
    Peter.

    Thanks for the reply, but I switched to Sucuri yesterday after still not solving the problem. Have a nice day.
