    I get the following error after upgrading WP to 5.8 and seopress to 5.1.0

    Fatal error: Uncaught Error: Call to a member function isEnabled() on null in /…/wp-content/plugins/wp-seopress/seopress.php:668
    Stack trace:
    #0 /…/wp-content/plugins/wp-seopress/seopress.php(717): seopress_xml_sitemap_general_enable_option()
    #1 /…/wp-admin/includes/plugin.php(2286): include_once(‘/var/www/vhosts…’)
    #2 /…/wp-admin/plugins.php(191): plugin_sandbox_scrape(‘wp-seopress/seo…’)
    #3 {main} thrown in /…/wp-content/plugins/wp-seopress/seopress.php on line 668

    I’ve uninstalled and tried to reinstall the plugin but I get the same error.

    Hi,

    delete the plugin using SFTP to make sure it’s ok.

    Then add it again.

    This error doesn’t make sense.

    Which version of PHP do you have please?

    I’m running PHP 7.3.30
    I have deleted and added the plugin and get the same error

    It works on my localhost which is running php 7.2 but throws this error on production with 7.3.30

    Hum sounds weird.

    Do you have the issue on your local setup with PHP 7.3?

    Honestly it doesn’t make sense.
