    Hi Guys,
    Every now and then I get the following error. Uninstalling and re-installing the plugin does not help. It does not always occur. But when it occurs, it breaks the entire page.
    Is there any way that the widget can give a non-fatal error message, something like Oops, we are sorry. Try again later.

    Fatal error: GCE_Display::get_event_days(): The script tried to execute a method or access a property of an incomplete object. Please ensure that the class definition "GCE_Event" of the object you are trying to operate on was loaded _before_ unserialize() gets called or provide a __autoload() function to load the class definition in /home/content/noneofyourbusiness/html/wp-content/plugins/google-calendar-events/includes/class-gce-display.php on line 61

    @marchesp,

    Sorry you are receiving this error. This has come up quite rarely on here. We always try to provide nicer error messages when we can. We still need to pinpoint what is causing this one down and then we will definitely add something else.

    I will update you when we have a solution.

    Thanks!

    I am having the same problem. It seems to occur regularly – maybe half of the time. This is the error message:

    Fatal error: GCE_Display::get_event_days(): The script tried to execute a method or access a property of an incomplete object. It appears that both WakefieldBand and me are running this plugin on a GoDaddy server.
    Could that be of importance?

    @marchesp,

    It definitely is a possibility that it is something to do with server configuration. Still not 100% sure at this point. I will keep you posetd.

    Thanks!

    Does this happen if you disable your other plugins and use a default theme?

    Also, what other plugins do you have installed if any?

    I also have this exact problem seeming to happen almost half the time, also on a GoDaddy wordpress hosting account. I am in the process of changing the domain name, and can provide you with further information once that has been taken care of.

    Edit: the error does not break my entire page, it just displays that error string in the sidebar or content section depending on the location of the event feed that is broken at the time. All event feeds exhibit this error periodically, but they do not necessarily all display the error at the same time.

    Please try updating to the latest version and let me know if this is still a problem. If it is then we can continue to troubleshoot from there.

    Also, please see my last response and test that out as well. And if also possible, try on a different server because I am wondering if it is a server configuration issue.

    Thanks!

    Assuming this is no longer an issue since there hasn’t been a recent reply here. Please let us know if you need more help.

    Thanks!

    Hi Nick! We recently installed the google calendar plugin and have the same error in our website. Our server is Godaddy and the plugin give us this error.

    One curious thing about this error is that when I’m logged in I see everthing OK but if I’m not logged in starts to fail.

    I have everything updated.

    Thanks in advance!

    @amorporlacamiseta,

    Can you please see if this thread is the same as the issue you seem to be having:

    We are trying to get this resolved over there and if this is the same issue for you then having all your info in one place will help too ??

    Let me know.

    Thanks!
