    Installed OptIn today and once it had finished installing the WordPress Dashboard crashed with a fatal error. Redacted details from WP support email following:

    When seeking help with this issue, you may be asked for some of the following information:

    WordPress version 6.3

    Active theme: Education Base Child (version 3.0.6.1691930766)

    Current plugin: Google Analytics for WordPress by MonsterInsights (version 8.18)

    PHP version 8.1.22

    Error Details

    =============

    An error of type E_ERROR was caused in line 531 of the file /[redacted]/wp-content/plugins/google-analytics-for-wordpress/googleanalytics.php. Error message: Uncaught Error: Failed opening required ‘/[redacted]/wp-content/plugins/google-analytics-for-wordpress/assets/lib/pandora/class-am-deactivation-survey.php’ (include_path=’.:/usr/lib/php8.1′) in /[redacted]/wp-content/plugins/google-analytics-for-wordpress/googleanalytics.php:531

    Looks like you are linking to your sandbox as all other includes are in the format “includes/admin/” ?

            require_once MONSTERINSIGHTS_PLUGIN_DIR . 'assets/lib/pandora/class-am-deactivation-survey.php';

    Disabling the Google analytics plugin for now has removed the problem. Yet to use OptIn, so don’t know if there will be any knock-on effects.

    If it helps, I installed OptIn, deleted before using, then reinstalled. After that I saw the error.

    Hi @fourminutes

    Thanks for writing in.

    While there are no known issues like this, I recommend sending this to MonsterInsights support (https://www.ads-software.com/support/plugin/google-analytics-for-wordpress/) to ensure there is no conflict with another plugin/theme on your website.

    OptinMonster works independently so it should work just fine. However, if you face any issues using OptinMonster, please let us know and we will be happy to help.

    @pranayachaudhary I have just installed OptIn onto a separate website that didn’t have the “Google Analytics for WordPress by MonsterInsights” plugin installed. It now does. OptIn has also installed it as part of its own install.

    It may be a separate Business to OptInMonster but your installation process installs it. You might want to also reach out to them as well. You may well have a direct line to them to flag the bug.

    Hi @fourminutes

    Just following up on this. I did pass on the information to them separately too.

    Also, during the installation process, it allows you to choose what other plugins you want to install along with OptinMonster. You can choose to uncheck the ones you do not want to install.

    Let me know if there are any other issues and I’d be happy to assist.
