    Hi guys,
Site been down couple of days returning a 500 server error. Hostpapps said their server was ‘down’, then said that there was an improper “etc/php.ini” file that they removed. Site was up for a while but now returns this message (at https://handycrowd.com)….

Fatal error: Allowed memory size of 33554432 bytes exhausted (tried to allocate 122880 bytes) in /home/whye3551/public_html/handycrowd.com/wp-content/plugins/jetpack/modules/shortcodes/polldaddy.php on line 151

Any ideas? I haven’t even been working on the sites so this problem seems to have started all by itself. Scary.
Gratitude to anyone who can help!
    Cheers
    Ian

    Jetpack Mechanic ??

That’s a common WordPress issue. You can find out how to deal with such memory issues here:

    Thanks Jeremy,
I’ll take a look but what’s puzzling me is how this happens. I haven’t touched the site in days and yet all of a sudden all these pretty terminal problems!

Difficult to get accurate info. Was the server down as hostpappa said or is something else going on entirely I wonder?

All great when it works, but difficult to understand when it goes wrong for us semi tech literate!

Thanks for taking the time Jeremy, appreciate it.
    Cheers
