Fatal Error in admin “Pages” and “Posts”

    hi there. I get a disturbing error message when going to “posts” and/or “pages” in the back office. The result is that I can see the count per segment but don’t see any posts or pages in the list.
    Any advice?

    It looks like a plugin or theme conflict. Can you try and gather as much information for us? Please perform the following:

    1. Make sure the issue doesn’t persist when Yoast SEO is disabled.
    2. Check for conflicts.
    3. Check for JavaScript errors with your console.

    If you find any JavaScript errors related to Yoast SEO or if there is a conflict with a plugin or a theme, you can create a new issue on GitHub for our developers. Please report the issue to a third party developer as well.

    If you didn’t find any conflicts or errors, we think the issue is specific to your site. We’d need to investigate further but are unable to do so on these forums. You can purchase Yoast SEO Premium and receive our Premium email support and we can help you further.

    I can confirm the above. I have spent a lot of time on this error as I initially thought it was a different plugin that created the problem.

    But I eventually landed on Yoast SEO as the problem. If I disable it, the problem is gone.

    I get this problem if I try to edit a page, post or a gallery in Envira Gallery.

    And I have it on two different websites.

    Sorry for the delay.
    1. I deactivated YOAST – and the problem was gone!!
    2. I also deactivated all connected plugins; like AMP and AMP Yoast, as well as qtranslate-x & Yoast. – Again No Problem.
    3. Then I activated the different way. qtranslate-x first, second Yoast and so on.
    4. By activating Yoast the problem appears again!

    My Problem is that I am also running a testserver (localhost) and there isn’t a problem.
    By the way: on Posts and Pages backoffice the “Help” and “Screen Option” dropdown also doesn’t function (this proble also is gone when deactivating YOAST)

    If it happens to one person/site it can be anything. Two is a bit more suspicious. But here we have a lot of people with sites experiencing problems. And we all can confirm that deactivating Yoast SEO solves the problem.

    I would suggest this is getting looked at fast. It is not only affecting a few. It is just that we are the few that has mentioned it here so far.

    Please provide the answers to the following:

    1. Does the issue occur when using a default theme with only Yoast SEO active?
    2. Does the issue occur with the current version of WordPress?
    3. Does the issue occur with the current version of Yoast SEO?
    4. Does the issue occur after disabling the new text link count feature? (How To Disable the Link Count feature?)
