Fatal Error in All In One WP Security Plugin on WordPress Site
-
Dear Support Team,
I am reaching out for assistance due to a critical issue encountered on my WordPress website caused by the “All In One WP Security” plugin. Following an automatic notification from WordPress about a fatal error triggered by the plugin, I have followed the notification’s instructions to diagnose and address the issue.Error Details:
- WordPress Version: 6.4.3
- Active Theme: Hello Elementor Child (Version 1.0.1)
- Affected Plugin: All In One WP Security (Version 5.2.7)
- PHP Version: 8.1.27
The error has been specifically identified in the file
/wp-content/plugins/all-in-one-wp-security-and-firewall/classes/wp-security-user-login.php
at line 678. The error message is as follows:Uncaught Error: Call to undefined function get_active_blog_for_user()
This suggests that the function
get_active_blog_for_user()
is being called, although it is not defined, causing a disruption in accessing the WordPress dashboard and affecting website functionality.Steps Taken So Far:- Checked the website and the specifically mentioned page for visible issues.
- Activated the WordPress Recovery Mode and temporarily deactivated the “All In One WP Security” plugin to restore website functionality.
I am seeking your support to clarify the following:
- Is there a known compatibility issue with the current WordPress version 6.4.3 or PHP version 8.1.27 that could cause this error?
- Can you provide a solution or update to resolve this issue?
- Are there any temporary measures I can take to ensure my website’s security while this issue is ongoing?
I would greatly appreciate any help or guidance you can offer in this matter to ensure the functionality and security of my website.
Thank you in advance for your time and support.
Kind regards
Thomas
