Fatal error in in 2.3.4 – class.jetpack-heartbeat.php line 76

Looks the jetpack member of the Jetpack_Heartbeat class was removed in [749365], but not all of the references to it were updated to use Jetpack::init() instead.

So I presume the required temporary patch is to replace line 76 in …/wp-content/plugins/jetpack/class.jetpack-heartbeat.php as follows?

$jetpack->stat( 'active-modules', implode( ',', $this->jetpack->get_active_modules() ) );

becomes

$jetpack->stat( 'active-modules', implode( ',', $jetpack->get_active_modules() ) );

Yeah, there’s a patch at the ticket above.

The problem is now fixed. The fix will be included in the next release.

Just upgraded to 2.3.5 and still getting the error message. Had to apply the patch again.

2.3.5 only includes a change to the Publicize feature: we added Path to the list of supported services.

We’ll release a new update including that patch and other things very soon!
