A user sent me a message that a critical error had occurred on our website today. I checked the logs, and found the following:

    PHP Fatal error:
Uncaught TypeError: Cannot access offset of type string on string in
    /[wp-path]/wp-content/plugins/all-in-one-video-gallery/widgets/categories.php:60

Our version of All-in-One Video Gallery was out of date, so I downloaded the latest version (3.3.0) and installed it. The problem continued. I believe that our recent upgrade to PHP 8.0 brought this to light.

Are you using a multisite network and have network activated our plugin?

I see that some of our plugin settings are not inserted. Kindly go to the “Video Gallery / Settings / Categories Layout (submenu)” from your WordPress Admin Dashboard and simply click the “Save Changes” button on the page. This should solve your issue!

Please let us know if still the issue remains.

We are using this plugin on a multisite network, but it’s not network activated. I’m not sure how a fatal PHP error is solved by saving changes, but we did that. Thank you.
