    Hello Alessandro,

    long ago ??

I am setting up a multisite with MultilingualPress plugin

Of course I also want to use your plugin here but I get the following message when I want to install this under – Network Admin – plugings.

Plugin could not be activated because it triggered a fatal error.

Do you have any idea how I can solve this?

    Thanks

    Hi Gunu ??
Right after that error message, on screen you should read the description of the php error. Please can you post it here? It could be very useful to understand.

    Hello Alessandro,

I do not see a PHP error code, only this https://prnt.sc/hofh8t

Or do I not look good? What else can I investigate?

    Hello Alessandro,

Fatal error: Cannot redeclare alo_em_load_wpml_api_support() (previously declared in /home/xxxxx/domains/xxxxxxx.com/public_html/wp-content/plugins/alo-easymail/alo-easymail.php:58) in /home/xxxxxx/domains/xxxxxxxx.com/public_html/wp-content/plugins/alo-easymail/alo-easymail.php on line 59

    Update:

I only saw this code when I first activated easymail at the various sites, yes, that worked.

Only under Network Admin – plugings there was still Network Activate and if I tried again I then also got to see that error message.

Hi Gunu, please can you provide exactly the starting point (e.g. is MultilingualPress plugin already network activated? EasyMail disabled at all?) and the steps you did to get this error?
So we can try to reproduce it. Thanks.

    MultilingualPress plugin is activated.

EasyMail is not yet present. Then install easymail.

First – Installed via Network – Admin – Plugins

Network Activate – gives the error message without explanation. (former screenshot)

Activating on every single site seems to work correctly, no error messages.

While they are activated on the separate sites under – Network – Admin – Plugins it is not activated (Network Activate) yet.

If I do activate after these steps (activating on every single site) I get the error message with explanation.

I hope this helps you, let me know what else I should try.

    Thanks Gunu.
After some tests I was not able to reproduce the error you reported, but I found another bug that could causes your error on multisite activation.
    I’ll make more tests.

    do you have an update?

Is there anything that I can test here?

I’ve just released the v.2.9.8 that should solve the issue.
