• Hello All,

If I try to go to this page: https://www.redpillparty.com/blog/wp-admin/

Or just to my blog page, without the wp-admin/ part,

    I get this:

Fatal error: Call to undefined function: get_bloginfo() in (I ommitted this little part for security reasons)/htdocs/blog/wp-includes/wp-db.php on line 304

BTW, this might be a clue: I was doing a lot of searcing around on my host site last night, PowWeb, and noticed several problems yet to be resolved. I couldn’t get into the sitemanager and I couldn’t get into the

https://phpmyadmin.powweb.com/ either, until I changed the password. Now I’m wondering if it can’t find my WP database?

I was also trying to make the secuirty fix that WP recommends, using the text editor, but when I opened the file in question I had too many unanswered questions on how to do it properly, so I closed it out. I thought I hadn’t modified it at all, but wonder if merely opening and closing the file corrupted it in some way.

    TIA

    Les

It’s possible that WordPress is having trouble finding the database. If believe the display of that error is actually a bug in either WP v1.5 or v1.5.1. The “Error establishing database connection” page should be displayed instead. Try upgrading to WP v1.5.1.2.
