FATAL Error: Maximum execution time of 30 seconds exceeded

  • Hello,

    I was tempting to update my WordPress but it shows an error. First I get a warning message which shows as this-

    Warning: An unexpected error occurred. Something may be wrong with www.ads-software.com or this server’s configuration. If you continue to have problems, please try the support forums. (WordPress could not establish a secure connection to www.ads-software.com. Please contact your server administrator.) in C:\xampp\htdocs\wordpress\wp-admin\includes\update.php on line 115
    Downloading update from https://downloads.www.ads-software.com/release/wordpress-4.2.1-no-content.zip…

    Fatal error: Maximum execution time of 30 seconds exceeded in C:\xampp\htdocs\wordpress\wp-includes\class-http.php on line 1589

    As you already know I am using xampp server locally. So how to get rid of this problem? Please help me out.
